Today: It’s going to be a beautiful day in the South Plains with clear and sunny skies. Temperatures will rise to 80 degrees. Winds will remain light out of the south at 5-10 mph.
Tonight: Partly cloudy skies overnight with temperatures only dropping into the low to mid 50s. Winds will shift to the south southeast anywhere from 10-15 mph.
Extended: We’re looking at mostly sunny skies for Saturday and Sunday with breezy conditions. A warming trend will continue through the beginning of the work week and we will reach the upper 80s and possibly even the 90s on Monday. Most areas will remain dry in the week ahead, but there is a slight chance for some isolated showers and storms to the west along the state line Saturday evening.
