LUBBOCK, Texas- High pressure is back in control of the weather across west Texas. That means we are going to expect our typical warm and dry conditions. Wind will be light today, with sunny skies and a high just above average, getting to 95° in Lubbock. Tomorrow will see warmer air, but things will stay dry. Expect mostly sunny skies, with light wind and a high temperature of 97°. Really every day this week, the eastern counties are going to see highs at, or just above 100°.
