The weekend is going to be one that you will want to spend outside. Get the pets & kids out there because things are going to be quite splendid. We will be under a ridge of high pressure in the upper levels. That will allow for plenty of sunshine & warm air. Lubbock is going to see a high of 81° Saturday. There will be few isolated storms along the state line Saturday. Nothing to dampen any plans, but just to keep in mind.
Sunday is also shaping up to be a beautiful afternoon. Lubbock is, once again, going to be under the influence of high pressure. We will be seeing blue skies & highs topping out at 86°! Wind will be at 10-15 mph from the south, pumping in that warm air. Highs will be in the low 90s for locations in the Rolling Plains!
