By midweek, temperatures will stay in the low 80s, which is only a few degrees above average. The sun will shine and the wind will finally drop to 10-15 mph. Thursday is going to be warmer, as highs jump back up into the mid 80s. There will be isolated storms in the Rolling Plains by evening. Coverage of those will be less than 10%.
I am watching Friday for isolated storms to be in the Rolling Plains, again. This time, we’ll see them right at 10%. So, it won’t be enough to ruin any plans, but you should keep an umbrella in the car in case you’re caught in one of these storms. Lubbock is looking to stay dry. But, I will watch this to see if anything changes.
