Thursday, for the most part, will see mostly sunny skies. We will see a high of 84° in Lubbock, with wind at 10-15 mph. After 10:00 pm, there will be some showers & thunderstorms. Any thunderstorm will be capable of having large hail & wind over 60 mph. I will watch that to see if there are any severe storms, mainly in the Rolling Plains.
Those storms will last through Friday morning. As a low pressure system exits the region, there will be mostly sunny skies in the afternoon, with highs in the lower 80s. Wind will start to increase by the afternoon, staying at 15-20 mph. But we will start off the weekend with some pretty nice weather, once those storms clear.
