Wednesday night will see a cold front approaching from the north. It will stall in the central panhandle. Ahead of it, we’ll still see moisture flowing in, so thunderstorms will be around from midnight-6:00 am. Coverage then will be at 30%. From 6:00 am-noon on Thursday it will drop down to 20%, as the front won’t make too much headway south. Highs will be able to drop down into the mid 80s, which is still below average.

Friday is when we’ll begin to see minimal opportunities for rainfall. This trend will last through Monday afternoon. Coverage is going to be 10%, but that’s if we’re lucky. It’s more likely going to be less than that. High pressure will build into the region, which will cut off moisture from flowing into the South & Rolling Plains. So, we’ll see partly sunny skies, with a high of 86°.
