Sunny skies will stick around for the day on Wednesday. We’ll get to a high of 61°, but that is before a cold front moves in by early afternoon. This front will be dry, but we’ll notice the wind shift in the afternoon & that is all. The colder air will really be felt by Thursday morning, as lows will dip down below freezing. For the most part, we’ll stay in the low 30s, with mid 20s to the northwest.
We’ll be feeling the cold air on Thursday. So, be ready to get to jackets & gloves out again. Thursday’s cold front will drop down highs into the low 40s for most spots, upper 30s northwest. There is going to be more clouds than sunshine, with wind increasing to 10-15 mph. So, there will be a chill to the air. If we can squeeze out precipitation Thursday morning, it will freeze on contact with roads, bridges, cars & things like that. Be careful of slick spots on the Thursday morning commute.
