A strong cold front will begin to impact the area by very early on Sunday morning. This will increase clouds & bring in much colder air. We’ll drop down to the upper 40s in the morning, but highs will only be in the low 50s. Wind is going to be sustained at 20-25 mph, gusting to 45 mph. So, things will feel like the low 40s. Be ready to bundle up on Sunday! Precipitation will not begin for most until after midnight.

There will be a mix of rain & snow on Monday morning, through midday. Otherwise, skies will be cloudy & the air is going to be cold. We’re looking at a high in Lubbock of only 34°. With the wind at 10-15 mph, it will feel more like the upper 20s! Precipitation will change to light rain Monday afternoon. Coverage of precipitation on Monday will be at 60%. There will be a mix of rain & freezing rain through early Tuesday morning.
