I still believe that Saturday is going to be the best day to get outdoors. It will be a chilly morning, as we start the day at 38° in Lubbock. However, there will be abundant sunshine & light wind for once! This will allow for the high to reach 72°. It will feel warmer if you’re out in the sunshine, since the wind will be light. Don’t forget sunscreen if you’re going to be spending time outdoors.
By Sunday, we’ll be seeing clouds on the increase, thanks to an approaching low pressure system. The day will be windy, as sustained wind is going to be at 10-20 mph, gusting to 30 mph at times. There will be showers & thunderstorms entering the region by the evening hours. Coverage of these storms will be at 30% & will last through early Monday morning. Things will clear off & dry out mid-morning Monday.
