We will have more record-setting warmth for tomorrow & Saturday. Expect highs to be in the mid 80s both days! So, we’re looking at three straight days or new record highs in Lubbock & really across the rest of the area. The Rolling Plains may get near 90° on Saturday. That heat will be short lived, as a cold front will move through the area by Sunday morning.

That cold front will bring our high temperatures way down. Lubbock is looking at a high of 67° by Sunday afternoon, with wind at 10-15 mph. We will feel the colder air by Monday & Tuesday, as well. Monday’s high will only reach 55°, then 58° Tuesday. Lows will drop back down into the mid & upper 20s by Wednesday morning.
