A cold front will sweep through west Texas by Friday morning. bringing in cooler air & keeping the wind elevated. Sustained wind will be between 25-30 mph Friday, gusting to 45 mph. There will be areas of blowing dust, once again. Skies will be sunny, but we’ll only see a high of 63°, which is closer to average. It will feel closer to the low 50s with the wind blowing around in the afternoon. So, you will need to have a jacket, because it will feel cool

A secondary cold front is going to move into the area by Saturday morning. We’ll see the wind drop to 10-15 mph, but the air will be much colder. We’ll still see the sunny skies, but don’t be fooled. We’ll only reach a high of 57°, which is now back below average. It will feel more like the low 50s with that wind blowing. So, be ready for that. The warmer air will return for the day on Sunday.
