We will see more sunshine tomorrow afternoon. The wind is going to stay around 10-15 mph during the day. Even though the wind will be from the northwest, there will be warmer air just a few thousand feet off the ground. That is going to allow for Lubbock to see a high of 60°, which is actually near normal.
A weak cold front will move in for Thursday. All this will do is drop highs. We will still see wind at 10-15 mph & we will still see dry air in place. But, highs will drop down into the upper 50s. Moving into the weekend, the warmth returns. Friday is going to see sunny skies, with highs in the mid 60s. The weekend is going to see a lot of sunshine, with highs in the low 70s!
