Moving into the weekend, things will stay sunny & dry, but we will see warmer air coming back to the South & Rolling Plans. High pressure will dominate the forecast Friday-Monday. We will see highs jump up to 65° on Friday, 74° on Saturday and 76° on Sunday. There will be highs in the low 80s for the Rolling Plains on Sunday. Even Monday will be sunny & dry, with a high of 73°.
There will be the next cold front moving through the region either Tuesday, or Wednesday. Depending on which model you look at, we will either see rain, or we won’t. This is something to keep an eye on, because we really do need more rain in the South & Rolling Plains. The more reliable model is hinting at rain, so let’s hope that one pans out!
