There will be a cold front moving in by early Wednesday morning. This will bring in gusty wind at 10-15 mph, with the higher gusts to 30 mph. We’ll also see a drop in temperatures down to the mid 30s in the morning hours. So, be ready to bundle up as you head out. The afternoon will be cooler, with light wind, as we reach a high of 58°.
We’ll see an even colder morning Thursday, as nearly all locations will get below freezing to start the day. Lubbock will dip down to 31°, with lows in the upper 20s along the state line. The afternoon will see clear, sunny skies as we begin to warm up. The wind will be light, which is nice, as high temperatures are going to get to the mid 60s. That’s actually close to average. The only downside is we need rain, but we won’t see any this week.
