The wind will stay at 20-30 mph for the day on Wednesday. However, the wind will help to bring us some warmer air. High pressure will be back in full force for the middle of the week. That means the South & Rolling Plains will get highs to jump back up above normal. Lubbock is looking at a high of 76°.

The end of the week will be relatively unchanged. That high pressure will stay in control and keep things dry & warm. Highs are going to be in the low 70s Thursday, mid 70s Friday & in the low 70s all weekend long. The wind will be at 10-15 mph on those days, but it will not make it feel chilly, at all. There may even be several days in there where you can get away with shorts!
