Lows will drop down to the mid 30s for Sunday morning. However, skies will be clearing during the day & the sun will dominate. For once, the wind will stay light, so get out & enjoy the day. Lubbock will get to a high of 76° for Sunday afternoon. You have permission to enjoy the weather & do any work! I know we desperately need rain, as the deficit is dropping each day. But, we can still enjoy this warm & calm weather.
As we start the next work & school week, not much will change. Skies will be mostly sunny & we’ll actually see warmer air fill into the South & Rolling Plains. Wind will be back at 10-15 mph, which will be the only problem. Temperatures will be even higher on Monday, as we’ll top out at 78°. I can’t rule out a few spots getting into the low 80s in the Rolling Plains!
