By midweek, the real warmth is going to set in. This ridge of high pressure will stay with us all the way through the weekend. So, we are looking at highs to jump way up into the lower & mid 70s. The Rolling Plains will be seeing highs in the lower 80s by Wednesday afternoon. The wind will be coming in at 10-15 mph, which could be worse. But, now, it is not looking too bad.

Another weak cold front will move through the area by Saturday morning. That will set our highs back some. However, we are still talking about above normal warmth for Saturday. Lubbock will be coming in with a high right at 66°. We will be up to 70° Sunday afternoon. The Rolling Plains will be in the mid & upper 70s for Sunday.
