Tomorrow is going to be a very warm afternoon. That comes with a catch, though. With the warmth, we will be seeing a lot of wind in the South & Rolling Plains. The wind will be from the west-southwest at 20-30 mph. The high will get up to 65° in Lubbock, with low 70s possible in the Rolling Plains. We’ll see sunny skies tomorrow, but more clouds will be increasing by Friday morning.

Highs will drop into the upper 50s behind that weak front, which is all we will really see from this one. The wind will be at 10-15 mph during the day Friday. Another cold front is going to move through the area Friday night, into Saturday morning. This one will bring much colder air with it. Highs will drop off into the upper 40s on Saturday. We may also see some light rain/snow mix in the morning, but that will clear by mid-morning.
