Clouds will be on the increase as we move through the day on Saturday. That will hold highs into the low 60s, which is still above average. Ahead of our next cold front, there will be isolated showers in the area at 10%. So, don’t cancel any plans, or anything, as this is mainly going to be a miss for most locations. Most models aren’t even bringing in rain for our area. But, have an umbrella in the car, just in case.
Behind the cold front which moves in Saturday night & Sunday morning, we will be seeing highs falling on Sunday afternoon. However, they’ll still be above average. The average high for Lubbock is 54° & we will reach 57° on Sunday afternoon. The wind will be at 10-15 mph from the northwest, bringing in the cooler & drier air. Skies will remain sunny, so it shouldn’t be a bad day to try to get outdoors.
