Friday will be slightly warmer, but we will still be below normal. The normal high is 54° & Lubbock will reach 53°. The wind will be only around 5-10 mph, so things will feel pretty good, all things considered. The weekend won’t start warm, but we will certainly see the warmth Saturday & Sunday. Highs will kick up to the low 60s & upper 60s by Sunday. The Rolling Plains will see highs in the low 70s.
Another, strong cold front is going to come in by Monday morning. That is going to shift winds to the northwest, so highs will drop back down to the low 50s. As things clear out & calm down, we will drop to the upper 20s Tuesday, but highs will onyl reach the upper 40s.
