High temperatures will continue to drop in the area on Wednesday. The wind is going to drop, as well. But it will not go away. Sustained wind will be at 10-15 mph, with occasional gusts to 25 mph. That is better than Tuesday, but still pretty pesky. There will be sunny skies, but Lubbock will only see a high of 51°. That will be back below average for this time of year & it will feel cooler with the wind. So, have jackets & sweatshirts handy.
Thursday will see much of the same. Skies will stay clear & sunny, with the wind at 10-15 mph. Highs will be in the low 50s, once again. Lubbock will get to 53°, with highs in the mid 50s in the Rolling Plains & upper 40s/low 50s off to the west & northwest. With the wind blowing, things will feel much cooler. So, it will be another good day for jackets & sweatshirts while spending time outdoors.
