There will not be much warming up in the forecast, at least for the remainder of the work week. Thursday is still going to have sunny skies, with wind at 10-15 mph. We’ll start the day at 22°, so bundle up as you head out the door in the morning, it will be very cold. The afternoon will see a high of 52° in Lubbock, with upper 40s west & mid 50s in the Rolling Plains. We’ll get another weak system moving in for Friday morning.
That system will make things even colder on Friday. At least we will see sunshine, that will try to make it feel warmer than it is. The morning will start at 20° in Lubbock, with lows in the teens to the northwest. So, be ready to dress very warm on Friday morning. The afternoon will see light wind, which will be nice for once. Highs will only be in the upper 40s for Lubbock & most areas. It will be a great day to stay inside, or dress in layers when you go out.
