By midweek, things will begin to moderate. It will be very cold on Wednesday morning, as we will see clear skies & light wind. The low will drop down to 22°, so be sure to bundle up. But the afternoon is going to be better, as we will see abundant sunshine, with a high of 51°. So, that is still below normal, but it’s better than what we will see tomorrow.
Thursday really gets the warm air into the South Plains. It will be another cold morning, with a low of 26°, but the sunshine is going to bring in the warmer air during the afternoon. Wind will be from the south-southwest at 5-10 mph. We will see wall-to-wall sunshine, with a high of 62°. Highs will only climb higher by Friday & into the weekend, so enjoy that warmer air.
