Beginning on Wednesday, we will see much drier air in the South Plains, with plenty of sunny skies. These sunny conditions will stay with us all the way through the weekend. We will begin to warm up tomorrow, as well. Lubbock will see a high of 56°, with light winds. We will actually reach a high of 63° on Thursday.
The spring-like warmth will hit us on Friday, thanks to a strong ridge of high pressure. We will see dry air, but some wind, with a high in Lubbock of 71°! Saturday is going to be very warm, with highs in the mid 70s on the Caprock & near 80° in the Rolling Plains! The wind will be blowing at 10-15 mph all weekend & into early next week.
