After another cold start to the day Saturday, we’ll see clouds clearing & skies will be sunny, once again. This will begin the warm up, even though the wind will be from the northwest. Expect dry conditions, so keep in mind the elevated fire danger this weekend. Highs will venture up to the mid 50s, which is actually where we should be for this time of year. Wind will be at 10-15 mph, so it will feel cooler than it actually is.

By Sunday, warmer air will be the story. We will begin the day at 26°, so bundle up if you’re headed out to church, or any other activity in the morning. The afternoon will see sunny skies, with wind remaining light, which will be nice. With all of that sunshine & high pressure building in, Lubbock will see a high of 61°, with mid 60s in the Rolling Plains & upper 50s in the western counties. So, get out & enjoy the nice weather this weekend.
