Sunday morning will be another cold one, as skies will be clear & the wind will be light. So, lows will be dropping down to 25° in Lubbock, with upper teens & low 20s to the west & mid 20s in the Rolling Plains. Sunday afternoon will see sunny skies, with warmer air. Highs will be climbing up into the low 60s for Lubbock, with mid 60s in the Rolling Plains. Wind will be light, so you should get out & enjoy the warmer afternoon.

Monday will bring in even warmer air across the South & Rolling Plains, thanks to high pressure. Skies will stay sunny, but the wind will be at 10-15 mph, which will be the only problem. Otherwise, with that sunshine & wind from the southwest, Lubbock will see a high of 65°, with highs closer to 70° in the Rolling Plains & low 60s off to the west & northwest. The only problem is the dry air. We need the rain, but none is expected any time soon.
