KLBK Midday Web Forecast January 9, 2017

By midweek, this spring time pattern will continue. Skies are going to remain mostly sunny & the air will be very warm. Even though we’ll see uncommon highs in the 70s, we will remain below record highs. The wind will be up to 20-25 mph, as our next storm system approaches the area. This one will bring back much colder air by the weekend.

Thursday is going to begin to see the changes, as highs will fall down into the mid 60s. We’ll have mostly sunny skies, with light wind, so that will be a very good day to get outside & enjoy this weather before the cold, winter air returns for Friday. Those mid 60° readings are still going to be more than ten degrees above average. The storm system bringing in colder air will arrive on Thursday night & Friday morning.
