Sunday will see isolated thunderstorms in the area, at 10%. You’ll need rain gear in the car this weekend, as well as sunscreen. How often do we get to say that? Sunday afternoon will see clouds clearing, mostly sunny skies, with a high of 95°. It will be a good day to be outdoors, just be safe & watch out for rapidly changing weather conditions.
For Independence Day Monday, we’ll stay mostly sunny across the entire area. The day is going to be warm, with light wind. So, it is going to feel very warm out there. Stay hydrated & have that sunscreen handy for the 4th. There will also be some isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon hours. Watch out for lightning Monday afternoon. We’ll see highs in the upper 90s, with triple digits in the Rolling Plains.
