By the end of the week, our highs will finally start to drop down to two digits. There will be mostly sunny skies & we will actually get to 10% for isolated storms in the morning & once again later in the day. If you’re caught in one of those storms, it will drop temperatures down, which is always nice to see! But, as usual, these storms will be more miss than hit. Lubbock will see a high of 98°.
The weekend is shaping up to stay mostly sunny & warm. Highs will stay in two digits & things are looking dry, after Friday. Saturday will be the warmest day of the weekend, where Lubbock will get to 99° for the high. The Rolling Plains will see highs in the triple digits. We finally start the downward trend in highs on Sunday, with a high of 98° in Lubbock & 100-101° in the Rolling Plains. However, we’ll see highs in the mid 90s to start the next work week.
