Skies will return to the mostly sunny variety on Wednesday. But, that won’t stop the storms from coming in. In fact, the sunshine & heating will help to destabilize the atmosphere & cause the storms to form. Coverage of storms tomorrow afternoon will be at 20%, so there will be more in the area. Brief heavy rain & gusty wind will be possible with any storm, especially along I-27. We will see a high of 93° tomorrow, which is average for the day.

Thursday is going to be the last day this week with thunderstorms in the forecast. We will see another 20% for the afternoon hours, as the storms will come in from the north & northeast. The skies will stay mostly sunny, with a high of 93°. If you’re caught in a storm, it will have heavy rainfall, but will help to drop the temperature down, as well. But, it will remain muggy, so these won’t really help too much.
