A cold front will bring some showers & thunderstorms to the area this evening & all day tomorrow.
We will see increasing clouds this afternoon as the cold front gets closer. Showers & storms will begin around 7:00-8:00 this evening. They will increase in intensity, meaning heavier rain, by about 2:00 am. We will be talking about showers & storms for your commute tomorrow morning and probably for the way home, as well.
Some places in the Rolling Plains will see between 2-3″ of rain by midday Wednesday. Lubbock is looking like around 1-1.5″ of rain by early afternoon on Wednesday.
