We’re going to be looking at another drop in high temperatures as we move into Sunday. Skies will be mostly sunny, with wind at 5-10 mph. I can’t rule out a few storms in the area. But that coverage will barely be at 10%. So, nearly all will stay dry Sunday afternoon. Lubbock will see a high temperature of 89°, which is below average and very nice to see in July.
The next work week will start to see warmer air and more sunshine. Monday will start with partly cloudy skies and light wind. The low temperature is going to be 70°. We’ll wait on the warm up, as Monday is going to still see below average highs. Lubbock will top out at 90°. The warmer air will certainly be felt by Thursday.
