The roads are going to remain wet today thanks to cloud cover & light winds. The clouds will also keep temperatures down this afternoon. That cooler air will only allow for highs to be in the mid 70s, with Lubbock getting to 75° this afternoon. That is 18° below normal for today! Tomorrow will see a mix of clouds & sun, but highs will stay into the lower 80s, still below normal.
More sunshine will lead to some warmer air heading into the weekend. We’ll get to 88° Friday, then into the lower 90s for the weekend. So, outdoor plans this weekend will be very nice. The only issue, of course, will be the mosquitoes thanks to all of the rain we have seen this year.
