The clouds will clear by Friday morning, as high pressure takes control again. Expect a mostly sunny start to the weekend. The wind will be at 10-15 mph during the day. The sun will be shining, so the air is going to warm up. Highs will be getting into the low 80s, with Lubbock topping out right at 80° during the day. This will start some great outdoor weather this weekend.
Saturday & Sunday will see mostly sunny skies, with highs in the low & mid 80s. The wind will be the only problem, but still staying at 10-15 mph. If the kids, or pets couldn’t spend much time outdoors due to the rain, they will definitely love the weather this weekend. Things will be great for the NCAA Regional baseball tournament, as well.
