Friday is going to start out cloudy, with some showers in the Rolling Plains. A low pressure system to the southeast of us is going to pull in moisture to the east of Lubbock. The entire area will be cloudy tomorrow & the best spots to see rain is south and southeast of Lubbock.
Rain totals in the Rolling Plains will be around, or less than .50″. Lubbock will see much less than that. We will see a light shower, or two, early Friday, then again Friday night. The rain will move out of the area for the weekend. Highs tomorrow will stay in the low & mid 60s. Lubbock will see sunny skies & breezy conditions this weekend, with highs in the mid & upper 70s.
