There will be clearing by Sunday morning, as the wind decreases to 10-15 mph. Behind this next cold front, we won’t see the temperatures drop as much as we will today. We’ll begin Sunday at 34° in Lubbock, so bundle up as you head to church in the morning. The afternoon is looking to be mostly sunny, with a high of 64° in Lubbock. That is just a degree below the average high for this time of year.
We’ll begin the next work week & Spring Break week here in Lubbock with clear skies & 43° in the morning. The afternoon is shaping up to be sunny, breezy & dry. Highs will stay near seasonal averages in the area. Lubbock will reach 65°. The downside is the dry air. We are still looking for a decent shot to see rain in the area, as we really need. But that won’t happen in this forecast period.
