The clouds will clear the area by Saturday night & into the day on Sunday. We’ll experience mostly sunny skies for your Sunday. The wind is going to hang around, because it likes us so much. It will be sustained at 15-20 mph, with gusts reaching 35 mph at times. Otherwise, we are going to see warmer air coming back to west Texas. Lubbock is going to make it to 78°, with low 80s expected in the Rolling Plains.
We’ll start the next work & school week with more warm air & more wind, as well. Sustained wind will, once again, be at 15-20 mph, with gusts to 30 mph. But the skies will be sunny. After we start at only 50° in the morning, Lubbock is going to see very warm conditions, as we make it to 80° for the high. Expect highs closer to 85° off the Caprock.
