Friday gives us the last shot at some rain for the foreseeable future. However, coverage is going to only be 10%. The low is not in the right spot for widespread rain. Anywhere south of Lubbock will see some showers, while the rest of the area will stay dry & cloudy. Highs will be in the lower 60s.
The weekend is going to look great for outdoor activities. The sunshine will return & we will see warmer air, as well. That warm air will allow for highs to jump up into the mid & upper 70s area wide. There will even be highs in the 80s for locations in the Rolling Plains. Wind will remain at 10-15 mph, which is not bad at all!
