The clouds will stick around for the day tomorrow and a cold front will move through early in the day. Cooler air is going to filter down from the northwest. Wind will be on the rise, sustaining at 10-20 mph. The high in Lubbock will be 72°. There will be upper 60s for highs to the northwest & mid 70s to the east. The main issue tomorrow will only be the wind, after 7:00 am.
Friday is still looking like a great day to get outside. There will be sunny skies, light wind & a high of 84°. Take the kids, pets & yourself out to enjoy the nice day! Saturday is looking like we’ll see some thunderstorms in the area. Coverage, as of now, is 20%. I am not really sold on it yet, as only one model as the storms in the area. But, there will certainly be moisture around, so storms can’t be ruled out.
