Showers & thunderstorms will continue through 50% of us on Thursday. The best window to see the rain will be from 1:00 am-1:00 pm. Then again in the evening. There will be heavy rain possible during the early morning hours Thursday, once again affecting the morning rush. The storms should be out of the area by 9:00 pm Thursday, followed by clearing skies.

The storms will all push to the east & southeast for Friday morning. That will allow for sunshine to return to the South & Rolling Plains. After highs in the upper 60s Thursday, things will rebound on Friday with highs in the low 80s, close to the average for this time of year. Wind will be 10-15 mph from the south-southwest during the day.
