Friday is shaping up to be dry & warm, again. Expect mostly sunny skies to return, with wind at 10-15 mph from the south. That southerly wind direction is what will bring back the warm air. So, with that said, highs will be able to climb to 83° in Lubbock, which is still below average, but we will take it! Highs will be in the upper 80s for the Rolling Plains.

Saturday is looking very much like Friday. We are going to expect mostly sunny skies, with wind at 10-15 mph. Highs will be in the mid 80s for Lubbock & upper 80s in the Rolling Plains. No rain is expect during the day Saturday. Overnight, so after midnight Sunday morning, there will be isolated thunderstorms across the area. Sunday will see isolated storms after sunset, as well. We’ll see if there are any hail producers with those storms.
