Tomorrow will see isolated thunderstorms in the Rolling Plains. The dry line will be well east of Lubbock Tuesday, so we will be dry & warm. Coverage of storms is looking to be much lower Tuesday, than today. Lubbock is looking at a high of 93° tomorrow. That heat will help to trigger those thunderstorms in the Rolling Plains. Heavy rain will also be a problem, as there is plenty of moisture in the air to work with.
By Wednesday, things will be drying out, but we’ll still be seeing very warm air over the area. Expect skies to be sunny, with wind at 10-20 mph. Lubbock will see a high of 94°, with upper 90s for highs in the Rolling Plains. This is the start to the warm, dry conditions that we are used to moving into summer. However, it is still looking to be an active pattern as we move into June.
