By Friday, things will quiet down again…except the wind. We’ll be seeing sunny skies again throughout the day. The wind will be on the rise in the afternoon to 15-20 mph. Other than that, we’ll actually be looking at a near average day with highs in the upper 80s for Lubbock, mid 90s east & low 80s to the northwest. So, we’ll kick off Memorial Day weekend with nice weather.
For Saturday, we will be seeing sunny & dry conditions, with that wind at 5-10 mph. So, it will be feeling warmer than it is. Highs will be in the low 90s. Sunday is going to see lower highs, thanks to more clouds being around. There will be isolated storms, with highs in the mid 80s. Memorial Day is looking the same. Highs in the mid 80s, with isolated thunderstorms. So, just keep an eye to the sky if you’re doing anything outdoors this weekend.
