The afternoon will see sunny and drier conditions. The wind is going to be at 15-20 mph, with gusts to 35 mph at times. Lubbock can expect to see a high temperature of 82°. Highs will be in the mid 80s in the Rolling Plains, with more wind there.
Expect a slight cool down on Thursday behind a weak cool front. The wind will stay at 10-20 mph, with gusts to 35 mph at times. Skies are going to remain sunny and the air will be dry. Highs will be slightly below average across the board. Lubbock is going to reach a high temperature of 80°. The dry air and sunshine will continue as we move to the end of the week and into the weekend, as well.
