By midweek, the air will begin to cool & highs will moderate into the mid 80s. That is very close to average, so we will take that. A cold front will bring in cooler air both Wednesday & Thursday, but Thursday will be the coolest day of the week. Wind will be from the ENE, so our highs will be dropping down into the mid 70s! Enjoy that!
By the end of the week, the air will once again warm up. So, highs will be in the mid 80s for Lubbock, low 90s to the east. The air will begin to see some more moisture in it & clouds will be on the increase, especially on Saturday & Sunday. We will see partly sunny skies both days, with highs in the mid 80s. I will watch & see if we can get some rain both days. Right now, it’s way too early to tell. But, we do desperately need some rain!
