KLBK Midday Web Forecast November 23, 2016

Black Friday morning is looking to be clear & cold. The wind will be light, so temperatures will drop down to the freezing mark here in Lubbock. So, bundle up & dress in layers if you’re doing any shopping late Thursday night & early Friday morning. The rest of the day will see mostly sunny skies & light wind. It will be a great day to get outdoors, however it will be on the cool side. That Thanksgiving front will drop our high to 58° on Friday.

Saturday will see highs barely climb up, but there will be more clouds than sunshine. There is going to be just enough moisture above the surface that these clouds will hang around in the afternoon hours. The average high is 60° & Lubbock will get to 61°. The wind will increase ahead of the warm up on Friday, staying sustained at 10-15 mph.
