Clouds will be on the increase tomorrow, as a storm system passes the area to the north. That storm system will also bring a return of the breezy 10-15 mph wind. We’ll see a dry day, with highs near average for this time of year. Lubbock will get to 60° tomorrow, just a degree above average. The clouds will stick around on Saturday night, so lows will not drop too much by Sunday morning. We’ll get down to the low 50s, feeling like the mid 40s with the wind staying elevated.

Sunday is going to be the warmest day area wide over the next seven, however, the wind is going to be howling. Expect sustained wind to be at 20-25 mph, with gusts reaching 40 mph at times. This is ahead of our next cold front, which will not bring precipitation, just cooler air & wind. We will get up to 70° in the afternoon, before the front passes through. But that will be uncomfortable, due to the wind.
