By Wednesday clouds will spread east of our area & the sunshine will be the dominating factor. The wind will drop back down to the light category, as it will be sustained at 5-10 mph. That is going to be nice, especially after what we’ll be looking at today & tomorrow. The air will still be chilly, as our high will only get to 56° in Lubbock. It will feel closer to that, since the wind will not be howling.
Thursday will shape up to be the warmest day of the week, after today. The skies will be sunny & the wind will stay at 5-10 mph. So, with the air flow shifting to the southwest, Lubbock will finally see highs get above average. Now, we won’t be climbing into the 70s, but we will see a high of 60°. It will feel much better than what we will see on Wednesday & certainly what is shaping up for the weekend.
