KLBK Midday Web Forecast November 29, 2016

Thursday will try to warm up, but will only get to a degree above the average. The wind is going to try to get going at 10-15 mph, so we’ll see the air trying to feel cool. Just keep jackets with you all week long, even though we’re going to see sunshine most days. Lubbock will get to 58°, with the average being 57°. Thursday is the last calm day until the weekend. There will be changes in the forecast by Friday.

As we move into Friday, the skies will see a mix of clouds & sunshine. A cold front will be moving through during the day. This will keep high temperatures in check in the afternoon. Lubbock will only top out at 52°. We’ll begin to see some light rain showers across the area, as well. Coverage is looking to be 20%, so they will mainly stay isolated. As the air cools into Saturday morning, any rain shower will mix with light snow. We won’t see accumulations, or travel issues, but the roads will be wet.
