By midweek, the mostly sunny skies will stay with us, but the air will remain on the cool side. The cold front from Monday will keep highs below average for most locations on Wednesday afternoon. Lubbock will be seeing mostly sunny skies, but the high will be 61°. Wind is going to be from the north-northeast, making it feel like we’re only at 55°. So, have a jacket with you during the day as it will feel cool!

Thursday will remain below average, which is actually more typical for early November. The wind will drop to 5-10 mph, so with mostly sunny skies, we’ll actually feel closer to the high temperature than the previous day. Highs will remain below average for Thursday, as Lubbock will only reach 63°. Highs will be closer to the upper 50s to the northwest. It looks as though this cooler air mass will be here to stay for the next two weeks, at least.
